Abstract

Click to view or download the webinar recording (MP4 Video 455.1MB Sep2 21).
Teaching and learning centers and professionals may not be involved in actual evaluation of teaching, but they are often a part of the campus conversation about teaching evaluation. This webinar is geared to professionals in these positions who want to know how they can be an agent of change for more meaningful, inclusive, and effective evaluation of teaching -- beyond traditional student course evaluations -- which has greater potential to enhance teaching excellence at their campus.

Audience

Teaching and learning center staff along with others engaged in promoting teaching evaluation change on campus. Groups from a campus are particularly welcomed.

Goals

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify mechanisms for teaching evaluation and resources available
  • Identify and engage with visions for teaching excellence, including frameworks for teaching evaluation and inclusive excellence
  • Build skills for advocacy and change agency around issues of teaching evaluation
