Working Group Meetings and Informal Discussions
Upcoming Meetings and Discussions
Each ASCN working group meets regularly to discuss ideas, events, and more. These working group meetings are open to all of their working group members. To become a member of a working group, you can join ASCN for free here.
To access the meeting:
- Make sure you are logged into your account on the ASCN website.
- At the time of the meeting, go to that working group page.
- Click on the black "Private Workspace" button in the top right of the page.
- At the top of the page you will find the Zoom information for all of the working group meetings.
Within the private workspace you will also be able to find meeting notes and other important documents. If you have questions about a specific working group, please contact the working group leaders; their emails are available on their working group pages.
Working Group 1 Meetings
Working Group 1,Guiding Theories, has meetings to focus on developing and disseminating summaries of learning theories to help change agents incorporate them into their work. This page provides all you need to know about the summaries, including the links to the current summary collection.

Working Group 5 Meetings
Working Group 5, Equity, inclusion, diversity, and social justice, has meetings to build leaders' capacities to lead equitable change within ASCN as well as providing events and resources to the broader higher education community.

Working Group 6 Meetings
Working Group 6, Aligning Incentives with Systemic Change, has meetings to disseminate effective teaching evaluation resources, discuss current needs around improving teaching, and provide events and resources to the broader higher education community.

Working Group 7 Meetings
Working Group 7, Learning Spaces, has meetings to discuss current needs around in-person and virtual learning spaces and disseminate case studies to help inform other higher education stakeholders about what works to increase learning within campus spaces.
