How do I change my email preferences?
If you need to update your email, log in to your SERC account and select "Manage Email List Subscriptions" in the righthand navigation menu. You can then elect to unsubscribe from any email list you have been added to via ASCN.
What is the difference between being an active member and a follower of a working group?
Some ASCN participants will play more active membership roles, and others may be interested in following the group's actions. Therefore, you can elect to be an active member of working groups or follow the group's activities. Review the About ASCN page to learn more about the network structure.
What is my SERC account? What is the password-protected part of the site for?
The Science Education Resource Center through Carleton College (SERC) hosts the ASCN site. Your SERC account will allow you to log in to the ASCN password-protected part of the site (For Team Members). This part of the site serves as a private space for groups to keep notes from group meetings, collect working group products, and create a lasting record of working group activities.
