Fostering productivity and strengthening team dynamics are critical for success. This can be seen in university, research, teaching, administrative, and even policy making settings. This poster, "Behind the Research: A Team Building and Productivity Case Study," will highlight strategies for how teams are able to increase efficiency and cultivate a positive culture.

The poster will be organized into four key sections: "Building Trust," "Understanding Inclinations," "Enhancing Transparency," and "Productivity Tools." The poster will exhibit how to establish trust within teams, leverage diverse working styles for greater impact, create open and transparent communication channels, and utilize productivity tools to streamline workflows. This poster will highlight concepts such as Brené Brown's Core Values Exercise, Brown's Paint a Picture language, the 6 Types of Working Genius framework, Scrum (an agile methodology) to help teams complete work, Gantt charts, ai tools, and so much more.

From this poster, readers will:

Understand the importance of trust and transparency in team dynamics.
Discover how to identify and capitalize on different working styles within a team.
Gain practical skills to implement productivity-enhancing tools and strategies.
This poster is ideal for those doing institutional change work. The materials included in this poster have been implemented on various teams at Middle Tennessee State University, an R2 university. These ideas have proven beneficial to creating a trusting, inclusive, and accountable culture that practices strong communication and efficient work ethics.
