Prior Organizational Change Work

I am the Director of the Office of Biomedical Graduate Diversity. In that role, I am responsible for all diversity initiatives for biomedical departments and programs in the School of Medicine.

How ASCN Can Contribute to my Work

Participation in this network will allow me to further collaborate with institutional leaders and colleagues. It will also promote an exchange of local best practices and increase dissemination of all of our work.

How I Can Contribute to ASCN

I have created successful diversity initiatives that have increased scientific engagement and persistence in underrepresented students. I have also effectively engaged institutional leadership and faculty in areas of diversity and mentoring. I also formed a successful partnership between the institutional development office and student training initiatives. I currently assist many institutions across the country with diversity initiatives and strategies in their departments and programs.
