Inclusive Teaching Facilitator Training Opportunity

We are excited to announce that the application process to join our community of facilitators for the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project is now open! This program is designed for faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff who wish to lead a learning community at their institution. Participants will develop skills and techniques which encourage connection with others and a deeper dive into the course material. Although the course was designed with STEM instructors in mind, the concepts can be applied to any discipline. We encourage educators from all areas to apply.

We are seeking teams of 2-3 facilitators from each institution who will be committed to participating in our free virtual facilitator training on July 11th and 12th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. EST.

The Inclusive STEM Teaching Project advances the awareness, self-efficacy, and ability of STEM faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff to cultivate inclusive learning environments for all of their students. In addition to the course, learners can join synchronous learning communities led by trained facilitators at participating institutions. Nearly 10,000 faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff, have so far engaged.

More information about the opportunity, as well as the application, is available on our website. The deadline to apply to be a facilitator is Monday, May 1st. Please reach out to inclusivestemteaching@gmail.com with any questions.
