Inclusive STEM Teaching Project: Join our Community of Facilitators!

published Aug 26, 2021 8:26am

The Inclusive STEM Teaching Project, a NSF grant-funded program, hosts content through two modalities: an asynchronous course offered on edX or a blended learning opportunity that accompanies our edX course with synchronous learning community content.

We are excited to announce that applications to join our community of facilitators are now open! This program is designed for faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff who wish to develop skills and techniques for facilitating learning communities at their local institutions alongside our edX course. Learning communities encourage connection and a deeper dive into the course material.

We are seeking teams of 2-3 facilitators from each institution who will be committed to participating in our virtual facilitator training in January 2022, scheduled on the following dates and times:

-January 26, 2022 | 3:00-6:00pm EDT | 2:00-5:00pm CDT | 1:00-4:00pm MDT | 12:00-3:00pm PDT
-January 27, 2022 | 3:00-6:00pm EDT | 2:00-5:00pm CDT | 1:00-4:00pm MDT | 12:00-3:00pm PDT

More information about the opportunity, as well as the application, are available on our website: https://www.inclusivestemteaching.org/facilitator-training/. The deadline to apply to be a facilitator is Friday, September 10th.
