Research: On-going Projects

Project Entitled: Baylor College of Medicine Engagement and Retention Model (ERM), National Institutes of Health All of Us Research Program Engagement and Retention Innovators, 2021-2026, PI: Brendan Lee, Baylor College of Medicine (BCM); co-PIs: Laura Rosales, BCM, and Debra Murray, BCM; Consultants: Latanya Hammonds-Odie, Georgia Gwinnett College, April Adams, BCM, Ashley Butler, BCM, and Stacy Lloyd, BCM. This project was designed to increase the diversity of researchers who use the accumulated data available in the NIH All of Us Program Researcher Workbench. Project components include a Summit and Scholars Program for senior postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty members, support for institutional liaisons from MSIs, and Researcher Workbench training and support services.

ASCB MAC: In my role as an active member (co-Chair 2020-2023) of the Minorities Affairs Committee of the American Society for Cell Biology, I not only am a major contributor to the planning and execution of the activities, but I have been involved in three major applications for financial support for the Society.
