Cynthia Hampton

University of Colorado at Boulder

Cynthia Hampton is a postdoctoral research associate for the Center for STEM Learning and the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.  A graduate of the Department of Engineering Education at Virginia Tech, Cynthia has directed summer bridge programs, led peer support initiatives for underrepresented groups, and served on various commissions, committees, and research groups focused on student support, organizational change, graduate student policy, and culturally responsive evaluation. Her research interests include critique and investigation of organizational systems, faculty equity and development, the hidden curriculum, and the dynamics of justice, equity and inclusion related to broadening participation in engineering.
