Mathew Devereaux

Mathew Devereaux is a PhD student and graduate assistant in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) within the College of Education at Michigan State University. Mathew is currently working as a part of an NSF-funded research team studying how networks of organizations form and pursue systemic change in STEM undergraduate education. This research team is specifically studying how six networks (ATE, BVA, CIRTL, NSEC, PULSE, and RC) were created and have managed to sustain with the goal of advancing undergraduate STEM education. Mathew holds a BS in psychology from Grand Valley State University as well as an MS in industrial and organizational psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Other areas of scholarship Mathew is interested in include student learning outcomes assessment and institutional effectiveness in the community college sector.
