Travel by Air
Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport is located about 20 minutes from the conference venue.
Information about ground transportation to and from the airport can be found on the Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport website and on the Meet Minneapolis website.
Travel by Train or Bus
The St. Paul-Minneapolis Amtrak station is located at 240 Kellogg Boulevard East. The Minneapolis light rail, Metro Transit, runs through Minneapolis. Meet Minneapolis has information on public transportation within the city and an accessibility guide for navigating transportation.
Travel by Car

Lodging Options
The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown

The conference will take place at the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown.
Room block rates:
- $199/night for either a Deluxe King or Deluxe Two Queen room.
- This rate is available three days pre- and post-event.
The cut off date for reserving a room in the room block is Friday, May 19, 2023 at 5:00 pm ET. We encourage you to book early to ensure you reserve a room at the block rate.
Meals
Please note that registration includes:
- Breakfast and Lunch on June 12th and 13th.
- A reception on June 12th.

Accommodations
The Transforming Institutions Conference is committed to providing universal access to our programming and supporting special accommodation requests to the best of our ability. Please check the box on the registration form if you would like a member of the Conference Committee to follow up with you to assist with accommodations that support your needs (e.g. accessible parking space, alternative formats, lactation room). Please note that we will do our best to accommodate your needs, but cannot guarantee we will be able to. Regardless, advanced notice is necessary.
