Susan Elrod began as the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater on April 15, 2016. Prior to this appointment, she served as Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at California State University, Chico (Chico State) from October 2014 - March 2016. At Chico State, she implemented programs to improve faculty diversity and salary equity, revitalized support for research, launched new data dashboard and E-portfolio projects, and assisted the campus in preparing for a presidential transition. Dr. Benjamin C. Flores joined the faculty of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 1990 after receiving his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. He is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and has held several administrative positions including Dean of the Graduate School, Associate Dean of the Graduate School, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies for the College of Engineering, Chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and Interim Chair of the Computer Science Department. Dr. Judith A. Ramaley is President Emerita and Distinguished Professor of Public Service at Portland State University in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government and President Emerita of Winona State University. She serves on the Board of Campus Compact of Oregon and the Board of Second Nature, an organization devoted to assisting colleges and universities in responding to the challenge of climate change. Beach is a Professor of Higher Education Leadership and Co-Director of the Center for Research on Instructional Change in Postsecondary Education (CRICPE) at Western Michigan University. She founded and was Director of the Office of Faculty Development at WMU from 2008-2015. She received her Master's degree in Adult and Continuing Education and her PhD in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) from Michigan State University in 1998 and 2003, respectively. Her research centers on organizational change in higher education, support of innovation in teaching and learning, faculty learning communities, and faculty development as a change lever.
