Rachel McCord

Rachel McCord is a Lecturer and Research Assistant Professor in the Engineering Fundamentals Program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Rachel's teaching focuses on engineering physics, technical communication, engineering design, and academic and professional success strategies for engineering students. Her research interests include interventions designed to develop self-regulated learning and metacognitive skills in undergraduate engineering students. She also is a team member on the Rising Engineering Education Fellowship Experience, a program intended to provide engineering education graduate students an opportunity to experience faculty life and develop change agent skills before graduation.
